Wisdom That Sings: The poetry and translations of Thomas Hitoshi Pruiksma (Reading Session)

As part of being the Singapore Book Council‘s first translator in residence, I’m delighted to offer an evening reading.

Join poet, translator, teacher, and performer Thomas Hitoshi Pruiksma for a reading of his own poetry and translations from Tamil and from Spanish. Interspersing his reading with stories and reflections, he’ll guide listeners into an experience of lyric philosophy: clarity expressed in the music of words and silence. The reading will be followed by an open discussion and book signing.
