As a person of Tamil origin, I did not grow up speaking Tamil and always felt reluctant to learn Tamil from a native Tamil teacher, as in the past, I was mocked for my accent. However, with Thomas, I always feel comfortable and confident.
The initial introductory meeting which he arranged was informative and gave me an insight on the structure of the lessons. Thomas is highly intuitive, a kind and patient teacher. He is also very flexible with the structure of the lessons and how to approach each week based on how I respond to each lesson.
It is refreshing to experience learning Tamil from his perspective. He is deeply committed to teaching the language and his love of the language comes through in the classes. I highly recommend one-on-one lessons with him.
